Below are the main dates for the 2011 - 2012 season. We will advise match dates as they are set.

Sunday 11^th September 2011 – 11^th December 2011 (Half term break 23^rd October)

Sunday 8^th January 2012 – 25^th March 2012 (Half term break 12^th February)

The training groups are the same as last year, with U10s, U12s and Over 12s. This will be based upon age as at 1^st Sept 2010. The training times and groups will now be as follows :-

U10s + U12s 10:30am – 11:30am

Over 12s 11:30am – 12:30pm

The subscriptions for this season will be £40 per season for the first child, plus £30 for each additional sibling. Subscriptions are due at the start of the season, cheques are payable to Rickmansworth Hockey Club.

Match fees will be collected at games at £2 per game.

As always mouth guards, shin pads should be worn by all players along with suitable trainers (astros). Players who don’t have the correct equipment will not be able to take part. Sticks are available to borrow on a session by session basis.

Hockey Club Centenary

This season is the clubs centenary; as such we are organizing a number of events. To kick off our celebrations we will be holding a club day on Saturday 10^th September. As the juniors are the future of the club we would like as many of the juniors to come along for a brief session to show off all their skills to the rest of the club. To help us at our club day GB Player Niall Stott will be coming along and has agreed to conduct a coaching session for the colts. Niall current has 121 Scottish Caps as well as 79 GB Caps, he is embarking on his third Olympic cycle with GB as well as competing in 2 Commonwealth Games and 5 European Championships. Can you drop me a mail to confirm if you can make the Saturday, if so can you come along for 11:45, the coaching will be from 12:00 to 12:30. You are more than welcome to stay and watch for the rest of the afternoon as well as joining us at the club from 5pm for BBQ and drinks.
